Operator and scope

Linsora is developed and operated by [LEGAL_NAME_IN_ENGLISH_REQUIRED] (known as scottzh). Contact: [email protected]. This policy covers the current local-recording app and this support website. Future features require a policy review.

Recordings and local data

Recording starts only when you initiate it and grant microphone permission. Audio, titles, dates, durations and recovery segments stay in the app’s private storage. This version has no accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs, automatic uploads or server transcription. The developer does not receive your recordings through the app. Contacts, location and photo permissions are not required.

Protection, backups and retention

The app uses iOS file protection that allows access after the first unlock following a restart, supporting recording while locked. It is not a separate encrypted vault or app lock. A backup-exclusion flag is set but cannot guarantee exclusion from all system backups. There is no in-app cloud sync. Recordings remain until you delete them or local data is removed, for example by uninstalling. Uninstalling, device loss or damage can permanently destroy recordings.

Recovery, export and deletion

Recovery segments are retained during recording. Complete saves schedule source cleanup; partial recovery retains sources until you discard them or delete the recording. Export and sharing use separate temporary copies, cleaned after completion or cancellation; leftovers after an abnormal exit are cleaned on the next launch. Failed deletion tasks are retried. Deletion is not forensic secure erasure. Recovery of device damage or unwritten audio is not guaranteed.

Audio is handed to an external destination only when you initiate export or sharing. Copies in iCloud Drive, other apps or a recipient’s possession are managed by those destinations under their policies. Deleting an in-app recording cannot revoke external copies.

Website visits

This website has no analytics scripts, advertising, forms or cookies intentionally set by the site. Your browser still sends connection and request information such as IP address, path and browser information to its host. The website is hosted on a server managed by the operator and does not currently use a CDN. Server error logs may contain request information, and the hosting provider may process connection data. This policy does not assume that server logs are disabled.

Before publication, complete: hosting provider and region [REQUIRED], error-log retention and deletion [REQUIRED], with no CDN currently in use. Until completed, this is a draft, not a final published policy.

Feedback and contact

In-app feedback currently copies your description, reproduction steps and app/system versions. It does not send a message or automatically attach audio, titles or logs. If you email support, the operator and email provider process your address, message and any attachments you choose to send to respond and resolve your request. You do not need to send recordings or sensitive information.

Support email is provided through Yahoo Mail ([email protected]). Retention and deletion procedure: [REQUIRED]. You may contact the published email to request access to or deletion of support correspondence. You manage local recordings on your device; the operator cannot remotely access or recover them.

Your choices and changes

You can stop recording, revoke microphone permission in system settings and delete local recordings. Inform participants and comply with applicable recording rules. Policy changes will be published here with an effective date. AI or cloud features will require updated data-processing information before release.
